The Central Children’s Home of North Carolina and the North Carolina Association of United States Track and Field will host the Second Annual Central Children’s Home Cross Country Festival on September 28, in Oxford NC. There will be a total of 12 events contested throughout the day including the Central Children’s Home 6 km Run Walk, Open and Masters North Carolina USATF Cross Country Championships, USATF Youth division races, and the Granville Invitational, featuring High School and Middle School events. Proceeds from the Cross-Country Festival will benefit in part the Central Children’s Home of North Carolina, North Carolina USATF and will be used to defray the cost of event production.
North Carolina USATF will award over $10,000 in prize money to both individuals and teams in the four championship divisions: Open Men, Open Women, Masters Men, and Masters Women.
